Keep the time with a contemporary analogue clock. LEDs are the clock hands, with a dot moving around the circle face every second. The clock’s face automatically switches off when it’s quiet and lights up when you click your fingers or clap your hands. It has an alarm function with snooze, so it could be your new bedside clock (especially if you’re trying the no-phone-in-the-bedroom thing).
