{"id":7201,"date":"2009-04-29T17:15:40","date_gmt":"2009-04-29T17:15:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.betterlivingthroughdesign.com\/?p=7201"},"modified":"2010-11-30T10:25:18","modified_gmt":"2010-11-30T17:25:18","slug":"wall-murals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.betterlivingthroughdesign.com\/renovate\/wall-murals\/","title":{"rendered":"Wall Murals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\nSo, ever since seeing the photo (taken by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.debitreloar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Debi Treloar<\/a>) of this bed (in Studio Ilse&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.studioilse.com\/projects\/661londonroad\/7.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">661 london road<\/a> project), I&#8217;ve been a little obsessed with finding cobalt blue sheets and perhaps taking on the task of adding a wall mural somewhere in my home. While I have had absolutely no luck in finding the sheets (it&#8217;s apparently impossible*), there are quite a few wall mural sources online.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.surfaceview.co.uk\/#imagebrowser\" target=\"_blank\">Surface View<\/a>, which is perhaps the most entertaining, has a large image collection along with a snazzy &#8216;see in room&#8217; option where you get to see your selected image as a mural, window blind or canvas art (see upper right photo). There&#8217;s also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.muralsyourway.com\" target=\"_blank\">Murals Your Way <\/a>which has what looks to be a decent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.muralsyourway.com\/myw4-design.cfm?pid=MMIAGF1100&#038;RTV=cid,14\" target=\"_blank\">brick wall <\/a>and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.muralsyourway.com\/myw4-design.cfm?pid=MMBAFH2001&#038;RTV=masters,1\" target=\"_blank\">some other stuff <\/a>worth considering. My personal favorite is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.designyourwall.com\/store\/Galaxy-custom-space-mural-wall-paper-03-pr-1169.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">Galaxy mural wall paper<\/a> (shown lower right) from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.designyourwall.com\" target=\"_blank\">designyourwall.com<\/a>. They also have a nice <a href=\"http:\/\/www.designyourwall.com\/store\/Bamboo-Forest-wall-mural-wallpaper-8-part-1811-pr-1837.html\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">bamboo forest<\/a> wallpaper that could be nice in a powder room or something.<\/p>\n<p>Is that enough to get you started mural-wise?
