These inexpensive Bike Spoke Reflectors will make sure you’re seen in the dark, which is very important because most drivers are idiots (all cyclists know this). At the price, I’d encourage you to buy several packs and trick out your bike so that all the spokes have reflectors; it’s extra likely you’ll be spotted at night (and it will look fun).

You can either never leave your house, throw caution to the wind, or prepare yourself with a personal safety device. All sorts of scary situations exist, in the city (muggers) and deep in the great outdoors (bears!).
