Get this if you like tidy travel things and exercise. Puma’s TrainAway line makes it very easy to have all your running/workout gear organized properly since it all folds up into the jacket. There’s all sorts of tricks too, like your hotel key fits into a slot on the bottom of the shoe (so modern-day-secret-service-like) and when you buy the whole kit you also get a series of MP3 audio guides that make that jog/walk a little more interesting in various cities.
Available in Men’s or Women’s.
(It seems a bit difficult to actually get any concrete pricing online, so you might have to resort to actually calling a store near you)

Never underestimate your need for a backpack. I was walking my dogs yesterday and wanted to bring my Treo 650 (too-big-for-pockets) phone. Well, I usually carry my phone in my purse, but ergonomically it makes no sense to attempt to do so while walking a dog. Under normal circumstances a purse rests on your shoulder, but when walking a dog your arm is usually extended, causing straps to slide.
Anyway. A nice little Italian designed backpack would work just fine for a phone, bottled water and any other traveling necessities you may have for a little jaunt around the neighborhood, or wherever you may roam.
“The Cube backpack, crafted in Italy of durable cordura, is sure to transport all your work, school, and life supplies in sleek Italian style.
Available in dark orange cordura, with black leather and canvas straps and accents, the Cube has an easy-to-use fold-over top that secures tightly with industrial velcro.
Inside, a shiny olive gray interior is outfitted with one good-sized zipper pocket, a cell phone pouch, two pen pockets, and two credit card or ID pockets. Interior contents are quick to access because the cordura stiff “cube” holds its shape naturally eliminating the material folds in a typical backpack in which something is always getting lost.”
14″ tall, 11″ wide, by 4″deep.

Who doesn’t love calculators? Not only do they save us seconds/minutes/hours of brain time, but they also look cool. This particular multi-line calculator has 85 lines in memory, so you don’t even have to remember what you did forty-some-odd lines beforehand like normal.
Designed by Patrick Jouin for Lexon of France.

This necklace is pretty interesting design-wise, but the appreciation grows once the material and process of how it’s made is known.
“Industrial Bloom’s flowerlike facade is contrasted by the materials from which it’s made. Shavings of Hytrel, a high tech thermoplastic elastomer, are typically discarded during the machining process. We’ve embraced the individually unique shapes emitted by this production process and use it as the focal point. Each is combined with black or orange rubber cord to offset the delicate white flower.”

The Plya necklace is pretty special. It’s composed of wood and aluminum and is available in either walnut or beech.
“The Plya collection celebrates the interaction of two opposing materials: wood and aluminum. Negative spaces in wood are completed with metal accents questioning the concept of preciousness. In this work, the gem exists in the negative spaces allowing metal and even the individual to become focal points.”

“The E8 is a watch that revolutionizes the way we read time. It has a unique display mode. Time. It is fleeting, yet it can take on an entire new dimension that can be read in virtually any light. According to designer, Brieuc du Roscoät, the E8 ‘symbolizes a different approach to time, built around a new identity, new landmarks. E8 takes us with its simplicity to the reality of a universal graphical era.’ Alarm – EL Display.”

I think I saw this on Gizmodo.com a couple of weeks ago, and figured since I keep thinking about it, I might as well post it. It might be a little too big for my dainty wrist, but for anybody else, I’d say go ahead and get it.
